Teatro Alsaeed is an independent cultural institution working to revive and develop the arts, empower artists, and create meaningful opportunities for performing arts in Upper Egypt.

من فرقة مسرحية
إلى مؤسسة ثقافية.

From a theatre troupe
to a cultural institution.

نشأت تياترو الصعيد من فرقة مسرحية تأسست عام 2014، وقدمت أكثر من 600 ليلة عرض مسرحي. ومع الوقت، توسعت التجربة لتصبح مؤسسة تعمل على الإنتاج المسرحي، والتدريب، والعمل المجتمعي، وخلق مساحات جديدة للفنون الأدائية في صعيد مصر.

Teatro Alsaeed grew from a theatre troupe founded in 2014 and has presented more than 600 performance nights. Over time, the experience evolved into an institution working across theatre production, training, community engagement, and the creation of new spaces for performing arts in Upper Egypt.

لماذا نعمل؟

ليس حكرًا على المركز.

Because art
should not belong to the center alone.

نؤمن أن الفنان في صعيد مصر يستحق الوصول إلى المعرفة والتدريب والإنتاج والجمهور والفرص، وأن المدن والمجتمعات خارج المركز يمكن أن تكون نقطة انطلاق لصناعة فن يصل إلى العالم.

We believe artists in Upper Egypt deserve access to knowledge, training, production, audiences, and opportunity — and that communities beyond the center can become starting points for art that reaches the world.
